Tesla CPO Inventory Counts, aggregated Globally

CPO listings are at the actual car VIN number which is different to the New inventory listings as Tesla use dummy VINs. The data should be a reasonably good reflection of the true CPO inventory levels in each country

The Tesla inventory pages are limited to how many cars they will show, and to try and get a full picture we search on a combination of model, price brackets and odometer brackets to get as many cars as we can find.

Collecting car details at this level also allows us to see when model changes occur, and to establish factor production rates, although there is time lag on this information due to the nature of the CPO stock being some time after being made.

The current live total is 3981 cars. This is an increase of 236 from last weeks 3745, a fall of 665 from last months 4646, and a fall of 425 from last quarters 4406,

• Model X : 203 (-32 or -13.6% on last quarter) (+41 or 25.3% on last year)
• Model 3 : 2425 (+223 or 10.1% on last quarter) (+1465 or 152.6% on last year)
• Model Y : 1217 (-577 or -32.1% on last quarter) (+728 or 148.8% on last year)
