Raw data - all UK based

You can click on the legend below to toggle on/off different datasets. MOTs are all MOTs in the database, the other data points are reports of advisories and issues reported at the MOT. "PRS" stands for "PASS after Rectification at Service centre" and a common example would be a tyre fault that would cause a failure but is addressed by the service centre. The issue gets logged but doesn't cause a failure.

Whilst tyre related comments seem to be fairly consistent irrespective of age, there is a steady increase in brake and suspension issues, both in terms of overall comments, and in the proportion of significant issues. In many respect, this is to be expected, but does highlight the need to get these checked.
